The FPS value provided at asset upload may be different from the asset’s actual Frames Per Second. If a higher Frames Per Second value was provided, the number of resulting frames would be more than expected. Conversely, a lesser number of resulting frames will be produced if the Frames Per Second value provided was less than the asset’s actual Frames Per Second value.
If you are using a Google Chrome browser, verify that the Frames Per Second value provided is the same as the value displayed for the asset.
For all other browsers, it is recommended that you use the Alegion Video Validator to determine the asset's Frames Per Second value before uploading the asset.
If a record has already been created from an asset with an incorrect Frames Per Second value specified, follow these steps:
- Archive the record.
- Edit the asset's Frames Per Second value in the Assets panel.
- Create a new record from the updated asset.
